Forgive my site, it's a work in progress! Having said that, a little about myself.

I am currently enrolled as a Senior @ TWU majoring in Computer Science.

In the Fall of 1996, fresh out of high school, I attended Texas A&M University in my what would be my first attempt at higher education. I joined the corps of cadets and was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Obviously, I filled my time with Corps activities instead of studies. So, after two great semesters @ A&M, I was home bound again.

Unable to return to A&M, I spent the next two to three years working full time and taking core classes at a nearby Community College. Initially I had hopes of returning. It was during this time that I realized I had an interest in Computers. My goals shifted. I no longer planned on returning to A&M, but instead hoped to get an Associates Degree in Programming. Another two years, a few moves and several bills later, I stopped going to school. This was probably one of the worst decisions that I have ever made. My last semester was in the Fall of 2002.

I spent the last two years working shift work for Kirby Inland Marine, Inc., a transportation company. I worked rotating 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off schedule. By far, my decision to come back to school over that line of work is the best decision I've made in the past 10 years. So here I am.
